Description
The National Geographic Wide-View Display Weather Station provides a wealth of information to plan your day in one ultra-slim LCD color display that looks great in any room of the house. With this versatile station, you can get precise time and date information through radio-controlled settings as well as stay in the know about current and future weather conditions.
In its upper left corner, the display unit shows forecasted conditions for the next 12 hours using any of its six different icons — sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, stormy, snowy. This graphic representation makes it easy to assess what the weather may hold with just a glance.
Along the right side of the indoor display, users can view current temperature and humidity readings for both inside and outside. The external measurements are courtesy of the included remote sensor that mounts outside to gather outdoor temperature and humidity readings and transmit the data to the indoor display from a range of up to 30 meters.
The weather station houses a digital barometer that allows it to show current air pressure as well as predicted trends for the next 60 minutes using arrows to indicate rising, stable and falling air pressure. This trend indicator is located next to the barometer reading in the lower left corner of the display. Users can also set high/low alert alarms for both outdoor and indoor temperatures. These selections appear on the right side of the indoor unit.
The lower left corner of the display shows time and date information as well as the current moon phase. The time can be set manually or through radio signal for guaranteed precision. The unit has a double alarm feature, which is convenient for different weekday and weekend settings, and a snooze button. Icons in the time section of the display unit indicate which, if any, alarms are active.
The indoor unit includes both a wall mount fixture and a fold-out stand for multiple display options.
